Greetings, I am Silina. Never did I envision a journey that would lead me to a place of wholly dedicating my life and spirit to serve God. I once believed I was not the "Type" of person destined for such a path. The world, with its myriad labels, often sidesteps the call to aid others while readily seeking their contributions.
My life’s tapestry is woven with trials; from the shadows of childhood sexual abuse to the storms of domestic violence and false accusations. I faced the heart-wrenching ordeal of nearly losing my child, endured the tragic loss of my brother, and witnessed my mother succumb to illness, all while my father was deported. I have known the depths of homelessness and the challenges of single motherhood.
Years passed as I sought equilibrium between serving God and nurturing my own spirit amidst the chaos. Today, I transform my tribulations into a testament of God’s glory, for the adversary wishes to twist our hardships into blame against the Divine. Yet, I stand as a beacon of hope, a living testament that if I can rise, so too can you!
When we are rested, nourished, and centered in the divine, we are better equipped to pour ourselves out in love and devotion.
